## Summary

- Adds a new "Why Claude Teams?" section to the "Why this way?" handbook
page explaining why Fleet uses the Claude Team plan with automatic
overages instead of individual Max ($200/month) plans.
- Covers the $100/month engineering tier, 5-hour usage reset windows,
automatic overages for uninterrupted work, cost savings vs Max plans,
and the 150-employee threshold for moving to Enterprise.

## Why Claude Teams?
Fleet uses the Claude Team plan with automatic overages enabled instead of individual Max plans ($200/month per person).
Engineering is on the $100/month tier, which includes a usage window that resets every 5 hours. With automatic overages enabled, no one gets blocked when they hit the window limit — they can keep working without interruption, and overages are billed automatically.
This approach gives engineers uninterrupted access to Claude while keeping costs predictable and low. At 150 employees, Fleet will need to move to the Claude Enterprise plan.
## Why no project management function?
At Fleet, every functional manager is responsible for managing the flow of work for their team. The best managers think about their department's output like a factory, taking direct responsibility over results instead of delegating that responsibility to a separate project management function.
