Lucas Manuel Rodriguez 49fccdb7b0 Fix broken links in Adding-hosts.md and Orbit.md (#9230)
Hi folks!

I wanted to share some docs to a user and I got a 404:
The "cleanup script" link on
https://fleetdm.com/docs/using-fleet/orbit#mac-os click returns a 404.

- I used the "Markdown All in One" VS code extension to re-generate (and
fix) the indexes in those files.
- I used https://github.com/tcort/markdown-link-check to check for
broken links:
```
markdown-link-check Orbit.md
markdown-link-check Adding-hosts.md
```

Lucas Manuel Rodriguez 0f436d26db Run authorization check before processing policy spec (#9270)
I was getting a cryptic error and no logs in fleet when trying to apply
an invalid spec file:
```sh
fleetctl apply -f ./some-queries.yml
Error: applying policies: POST /api/latest/fleet/spec/policies received status 500 forbidden: forbidden
```

With the changes in this PR now I get a more descriptive error (bad
request):

```sh
fleetctl apply -f ./some-queries.yml
Error: applying policies: POST /api/latest/fleet/spec/policies received status 400 Bad request: policy spec payload verification: policy query cannot be empty
```

Gabriel Hernandez 7d4653baaa add attribute to GET /activities endpoint with pagination metadata (#9279)
relates to https://github.com/fleetdm/fleet/issues/8928

This adds a new `meta` attribute to the "GET /activities" endpoint that
includes pagination metadata. This can allow clients to know if there
are additional items to request.

# Addresses #8923

# Fixes

When a user followed the flow ManageHosts > HostDetails > Software tab >
View all hosts (aka, filter all hosts by the software this row
represents), and then hit browser back, then 'Back to all hosts', the
software filter remained on the ManageHosts Page. (see #8923)

Now the filter clears correctly, while still maintaining the desired
filters if they exist (OS, team, label)

Roberto Dip 2447a371b0 use nanomdm's multi service + integration tests and fixes (#9269)
**Use nano's multi service**

This allows us to integrate more seamlessly with nano and to run our
custom MDM logic _after_ the request was handled by nano, which gives us
more flexibility (for example: now we can issue commands after a
TokenUpdate message)

From nano's code:

> MultiService executes multiple services for the same service calls.
> The first service returns values or errors to the caller. We give the
> first service a chance to alter any 'core' request data (say, the
> Enrollment ID) by waiting for it to finish then we run the remaining
> services' calls in parallel.

**Integration tests + fixes**

- Move some of the service logic from `cmd/` to `server/service`
- Add integration tests for the MDM enrollment flow, including SCEP
authentication.
- Fixed a bug that set `host_mdm.mdm_id = 0` during MDM enrollment due
  to how MySQL reports the last insert id when `ON DUPLICATE KEY` is
  used.
- Completely remove the host row from `host_mdm` when a device is
  unenrolled from MDM to match the behavior of how we ingest MDM data
  from osquery

Lucas Manuel Rodriguez cadcdbb992 Add table implementation to query SNTP servers (#9312)
This may be needed for CIS 2.3.2.2 check:

```
Correct date and time settings are required for authentication protocols, file creation,
modification dates and log entries. Ensure that time on the computer is within
acceptable limits. Truly accurate time is measured within milliseconds. For this audit, a
drift under four and a half minutes passes the control check. Since Kerberos is one of
the important features of macOS integration into Directory systems, the guidance here
is to warn you before there could be an impact to operations. From the perspective of
accurate time, this check is not strict, so it may be too great for your organization. Your
organization can adjust to a smaller offset value as needed.
Zach Wasserman f1fdcfc481 Don't go get go-ruleguard in make deps-go (#9335)
Doing this could cause the package to update and therefore generate a
dirty worktree after a run of `make deps-go`. Goreleaser will refuse to
make a build on a dirty work tree (which is probably the behavior we
want, as we only want to build with committed changes).
